Shells to collect

The project is inspired by the song “Even the Sea Retreats” by Evyatar Banai and Efrat Ben Zur, and explores themes of emotional withdrawal and human guilt through the metaphor of the receding sea. The experience unfolds within a dreamlike, pink-toned environment that evokes vulnerability and quiet unease. As the viewer moves through the space, they encounter a floating head in a small lake, facing a hand holding a pearl, marking an intimate symbolic climax. The journey concludes at a monumental shell, functioning as both an ending and an open emotional pause. The project was created as part of the course Virtual Space Wandering, under the guidance of Eran Hilleli.
